A Portfolio Approach

From the start, we have taken a portfolio approach to product development. Understanding that there are significant risks in pharmaceutical development, we are advancing a portfolio of programs through development in a structured manner to ensure that our commercial organization has valuable products to bring to patients now and in the years to come. Our portfolio is regularly reviewed to ensure that its expected output meets our long-term goals and that it is balanced across target indications, phase of development, molecule type, and risk profile. The focus of our internal concept generation and business development teams is driven by the objectives and needs of the portfolio which evolves with changes in the development pipeline.
